Role Description
Find out more about the Beaver Scout Parent Helper position
What does the Beavers team do?
They create energetic, hands-on activities that help young people explore the world and learn to work together.
What would I do?
You’d help supervise activities, organise basic equipment, join in with games, and keep the flow of the evening steady. Your help means every Beaver gets more attention, encouragement, and space to shine.
Want to have a chat?
We welcome enquiries from people outside of Scouting, as well as exsiting members who may want to explore a role with a higher level of responsibility, developing new skills, abilities and set themselves new personal challenges – all of which can be used in and outside Scouting.
All roles are open to people aged 18 and above unless otherwise indicated.
Get inspired. Inspire others.

Great reasons to volunteer
You don’t need to be Bear Grylls to volunteer with Scouts – we’ve already got him as our Chief Scout – but if you're a smiler, an inspirer, an activity planner, a great tea-maker, the best sandwich-maker in Warwick, or a really good all rounder, then you could be amazing for Scouts, and Scouts could be amazing for you.
Here are just some of the amazing reasons:
- Share your experience and skills with young people while developing yourself
- Have fun and meet new people in the area
- Inspire a generation (who will never forget what you did for them)
We’ll give you a warm welcome, make sure that you have all the support you need, give you access to easy-to-understand training and resources online, and the flexibility to get involved in a way that works for you.
At Scouts, every week is different, amazing and rewarding - for everyone that takes part.
