Making Scouting possible.
How we raise funds.
Supporting our group, investing in our young people and keeping Scouting moving forward.Running a Scout group comes with a range of costs, from maintaining our equipment and facilities to providing activities and opportunities for our young people. We currently raise additional funds through Gift Aid and grants, helping us keep our programme running and provide as many opportunities as possible for our members.
Gift Aid allows us to claim additional funding on eligible donations at no extra cost to the donor, while grants help us fund specific projects, equipment and improvements. Every contribution we receive helps us create a place to belong, build Skills for Life and give our young people more opportunities to learn, grow and experience adventure.
Where Your Support Goes

The funding we receive helps us provide the equipment, resources and experiences that make our programme possible. From replacing worn-out equipment and maintaining our facilities to supporting activities and creating new opportunities, every bit of funding helps us give our young people more to experience.
By securing Gift Aid and grant funding, we can continue investing in our group and making sure our members have access to a varied and exciting programme. It helps us create a place where young people can belong, build Skills for Life and take on experiences that help them grow in confidence.
